Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Food Service Manager to lead our tavern's operations. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day activities, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for patrons while maintaining operational efficiency. You will oversee staff training, inventory management, and compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operations of the tavern, focusing on both front- and back-of-house.
  • Develop effective training programs for new hires and ongoing staff development.
  • Monitor food and drink menu and adjust as necessary to reflect customer preferences.
  • Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
  • Analyze customer feedback to improve service and offerings.
  • Ensure all equipment and facilities meet operational standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotions and events.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers for timely deliveries and quality products.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous certifications in food safety are desirable
