Responsibilities

• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of all hot cell equipment.
• Conduct regular training sessions for staff on safety protocols.
• Document radioactive material handling and safety incidents accurately.
• Collaborate with environmental health and safety teams to enhance safety performance.
• Assist in decontamination processes and maintenance of safety standards.
• Report and analyze any anomalies in the hot cell operations.
• Implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain safety compliance.
• Conduct assessments of new equipment or processes for safety.
• Engage in continuous training on latest technologies in the sector.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in a related field is preferred
• Advanced certifications in radiation safety or nuclear engineering are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in nuclear settings.
