Job Description

As an Industrial Seamstress, you will play a key role in the production process, working with various textiles and utilizing your sewing expertise to meet our high standards for quality. Strong attention to detail and efficiency are essential.

Responsibilities

• Use advanced sewing techniques to create high-quality textile products.
• Interpret and execute detailed patterns and designs.
• Develop new sample designs and prototypes for evaluation.
• Conduct thorough quality inspections on completed items.
• Perform regular maintenance on sewing equipment.
• Work with a team to brainstorm improvements in product designs.
• Ensure all timelines for production are met without compromising quality.
• Keep workstations tidy and uphold safety standards at all times.
• Mentor newer staff members to improve overall team capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training in sewing and garment construction preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in industrial sewing and garment construction.

Technical Skills

• Expertise in industrial sewing techniques
• Ability to read and interpret patterns
• Computer-aided design (CAD) software

Languages

• English: Fluent
