Job Description

As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will perform various diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring the highest quality of patient care. Your role is crucial to assisting physicians with diagnostic imaging and contributing to patient treatment outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations using ultrasound technology to assist in diagnoses.
• Ensure imaging techniques are performed to the highest standards.
• Educate patients on procedures to alleviate anxieties.
• Prepare and clean ultrasound equipment for each use.
• Document all procedures in compliance with health regulations.
• Work in collaboration with nursing staff to coordinate patient care.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in ultrasound technology.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field

Experience

• Preferred experience in a specialized area such as obstetrics or vascular ultrasound.

Certifications
