Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Shoe Machine Operators and Tenders to join our production team in Los Angeles. Successful candidates will be responsible for operating and tending shoe-making machinery, ensuring quality and efficiency in the production process.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the operation of shoe machinery to ensure efficient production.
• Conduct routine inspections of machines and report any malfunctions.
• Ensure production meets quality standards as per company guidelines.
• Assist in the maintenance of production schedules.
• Provide feedback for machinery improvements.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss production targets.
• Participate in cross-training for different machinery as necessary.
• Ready machines for next production batches and clean up after use.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in manufacturing or technical field preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in the footwear or related industry

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting
• Safety Protocols

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a supervisory role: Experience overseeing a team of machine operators.
• Lean Manufacturing Principles: Understanding of lean methodologies for process improvements.
