Job Description

As a Sanitation Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility. Your responsibilities will include performing cleaning duties, adhering to safety regulations, and supporting overall hygiene efforts.

Responsibilities

• Execute cleaning duties efficiently while prioritizing safety and quality.
• Detect and rectify any sanitation issues promptly.
• Work in coordination with other departments to ensure a comprehensive sanitation approach.
• Report unsafe conditions or any violations of sanitation standards.
• Understand and implement Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in daily tasks.
• Exhibits flexibility in adjusting tasks as needed and prioritizing urgent requests.
• Provide assistance in training new staff on sanitation best practices.
• Contribute to creating a positive workplace environment through clean facilities.
• Maintain communication with supervisors about sanitation performance.
• Stay informed about the latest sanitation technologies and methods.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a sanitation-focused role preferred.

Experience

• 1-2 years of direct experience in sanitation, housekeeping, or related field is desired.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Proficient in using cleaning tools

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Ability to work independently

Certifications

• Food Safety Certification
• CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience operating industrial cleaning machinery: Hands-on experience with advanced cleaning equipment.
