Photogrammetry Airplane Pilot

Job Description

We are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled Photogrammetry Airplane Pilot to operate our aircraft equipped with advanced photogrammetry cameras. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality aerial images that are essential for creating accurate maps and land surveys.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the aircraft is prepared and maintained for all flight missions.
• Coordinate with teams for efficient photography coverage during aerial surveys.
• Analyze captured images and provide feedback for quality improvement.
• Document all flight maneuvers and decisions made during operations.
• Assist in the fleet’s logistical planning and aircraft scheduling.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety measures during flights.
• Establish strong communication with ground teams for seamless operations.
• Support the development of innovative flight techniques and strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of aviation weather conditions affecting flight safety.
• Act as an ambassador for safety and efficiency within the company.

Requirements

Education

• FAA Commercial Pilot License with Instrument Rating
• FAA Class II Medical Certificate
• Bachelor's degree in Aviation or a related field preferred

Experience

• At least 5 years of experience as a commercial pilot, with involvement in photogrammetry and aerial surveying.

Technical Skills

• Excellent piloting skills
• Familiarity with advanced photographic equipment
• GIS and photogrammetry software proficiency

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical skills
• Teamwork and collaboration

Certifications

• Commercial Drone Pilot License
• Crisis Management in Aviation

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Advanced degree in Aviation or related field: A Master's degree or higher in a relevant discipline.
