Job Description

As a Funeral Attendant, you will be the welcoming face and supportive presence at our funeral home. Your role is vital in helping grieving families and visitors feel at ease during such challenging times. Whether greeting guests, providing information, or simply offering a comforting presence, your empathy and compassion will shine through.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and support grieving families and friends as they arrive.
• Provide assistance with directions and general information about services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas of the facility.
• Document guest attendance and manage guest book.
• Function as a liaison between families and the funeral directors.
• Help prepare and arrange the environment to reflect a respectful atmosphere.
• Handle administrative tasks related to the service and guest interactions.
• Assist in setting up areas for memorial services and receptions.
• Ensure all supplies are available for families and guests.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in similar roles is highly desired

Languages

Advantageous
