Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Tunnel Man to join our team. The Tunnel Man will be responsible for various tasks related to tunnel construction and maintenance. If you have experience in tunneling and enjoy working in a challenging environment, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.
• Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments during tunneling operations.
• Assist in training junior staff on tunneling protocols and practices.
• Document and report daily tunneling activities and progress.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute suggestions for improvement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• Experience with tunnel projects involving challenging soil conditions.

Technical Skills

• CAD Software
• Surveying Equipment

Soft Skills

• Analytical Thinking

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Additional certifications related to tunneling: Certification in specialized tunneling techniques is preferred.
