Job Description

We are seeking a First-Line Supervisor of Construction Trades to lead a team of skilled workers on various construction projects. The supervisor will ensure safety standards are met and projects are completed efficiently and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of construction workers in daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Monitor work progress and quality, providing feedback to workers.
• Develop and implement training programs for new employees.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in scheduling project timelines and resource allocation.
• Respond to emergencies or issues as they arise on the job site.
• Prepare daily reports on project progress.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or relevant field is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of supervisory experience in the construction industry.
