Job Description

As a Community Center Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing community engagement and support. Your responsibilities include planning events, providing resources, and fostering a welcoming environment for all community members.

Responsibilities

  • Organize events and community gatherings to foster connections among residents.
  • Maintain accurate records of community engagement activities.
  • Develop partnerships with educational institutions for resource sharing.
  • Conduct outreach to underrepresented groups in the community.
  • Provide training and support for volunteers and interns.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including location, materials, and scheduling.
  • Promote events via social media and other communication channels.
  • Gather feedback from participants to improve future programs.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Social Work or Non-profit Management is a plus
Experience
  • Experience working with at-risk youth and/or seniors is highly preferred

  • Data entry and record management

Languages
  • English: Fluent
  • Spanish: Working Knowledge
