Job Description

As a Brick Pointer at Masonry Experts Inc., you will play a crucial role in enhancing the longevity and appearance of masonry structures. You'll be responsible for repairing and restoring brickwork using specialized tools and techniques, ensuring our clients receive durable and beautiful finishes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of masonry structures to identify weaknesses.
• Prepare and mix mortar, ensuring color matches existing structures.
• Apply mortar and sealant effectively for maximum durability.
• Clean surfaces and prepare for repair work in a timely manner.
• Ensure all finished work is waterproof and weather-resistant.
• Work closely with architects and engineers to ensure project alignment.
• Maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Pursue ongoing training in masonry techniques and safety standards.
• Communicate project progress with project managers effectively.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in masonry is an asset.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a masonry role.

Technical Skills

• Brick repair

Languages

• English: Fluent
