Job Description

As a Ladle Pourer at Metalworks Corp, you will be responsible for the precise operation of ladles to pour molten metal into various molds, ensuring successful production of castings. Working closely with your team, you will uphold the highest standards of safety and efficiency while producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Set up equipment for molten metal casting and pouring.
  • Ensure the correct temperature of molten metal before pouring.
  • Carefully pour molten metal into various molds according to specifications.
  • Inspect castings after pouring to identify any quality defects.
  • Maintain a tidy workspace and clean all equipment after use.
  • Follow safety protocols to minimize risks of accidents.
  • Support colleagues with additional foundry tasks.
  • Record daily production metrics and quality control reports.
  • Enhance pouring techniques through ongoing training and practice.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical training in metallurgy is a plus
Experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing or foundry environment preferred.
