QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a QA Automation Engineer with a strong passion for technology and a meticulous eye for detail. In this role, you will develop and implement automated testing solutions to ensure the functionality and performance of our software applications. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to drive quality improvements and ensure timely releases.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective testing strategies for complex applications.
• Conduct regular reviews of test automation processes and make improvements.
• Assist in identifying opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate in agile development practices and contribute to sprint planning.
• Stay updated with the latest trends in automation tools and technologies.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill team members in testing methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in automation testing

Technical Skills

• Java
• Cucumber

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Communication

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with cloud environments: Experience in testing applications running in cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with version control systems: Practical knowledge of Git for managing code repositories.
