Job Description

As a Model Maker specializing in wood, you will play a crucial role in bringing design concepts to life. You will collaborate with the design team to create prototypes and samples that meet specific design requirements. Your attention to detail and craftsmanship will ensure that our finished products exceed client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop a variety of wooden prototypes, from simple to complex designs.
• Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to refine product designs.
• Utilize CAD software to assist in the visualization of prototype dimensions.
• Evaluate and select appropriate materials that lend to quality and durability.
• Conduct quality assurance tests on prototypes to ensure they meet specifications.
• Participate in client presentations to showcase finished prototypes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training or certification in woodworking is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in model making or woodworking
