Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Animal Trainer (Outrider) to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on transporting cargo and livestock using horses, requiring physical endurance and expertise in animal care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient transport of cargo and livestock.
• Evaluate and manage routes to enhance transport efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of horses and transport equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Provide insights on improving animal training protocols.
• Engage in proactive problem-solving regarding animal health issues.
• Contribute to fostering a safe and positive work environment.
• Attend and contribute to regular safety meetings and training sessions.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees in animal handling.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Certifications in animal training preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years working in animal husbandry or related fields.
