Job Description

As a Cane Flume Chute Operator, you will play a crucial role in the sugar manufacturing process by operating and maintaining the cane flume chute. This position demands a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently to meet industry standards. You will work closely with a team to ensure the seamless flow of sugar cane through our processing facility, contributing to the overall success of our production efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of the cane flume chute effectively.
• Check for and repair any defects to optimize performance.
• Ensure all chute components are clean and lubricated regularly.
• Collaborate with other operators for fluid workflow.
• Uphold safety standards to prevent accidents.
• Record all relevant data accurately for operational review.
• Conduct routine equipment checks and maintenance.
• Fix minor issues promptly to avoid production delays.
• Work in conjunction with supervisors to maintain production flow.
• Attend training sessions to further operational knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
