Job Description

In this position, you’ll serve as a key decision-maker in the underwriting process, ensuring that our policies align with corporate standards and regulations. You will review applications, assess risk factors, and liaise with agents to propose coverage options. Ideal candidates will have strong communication skills and a knack for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough analyses of submitted insurance applications.
• Determine eligibility and appropriate coverage for clients.
• Utilize statistical models to assess risk levels.
• Collaborate with the claims department to understand risk factors.
• Provide guidance on underwriting decisions based on financial data.
• Prepare and deliver presentations on underwriting policies and results.
• Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions and client communications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in underwriting or insurance analysis

• Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
