Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Billet Cutter to join our production team in Pittsburgh. As a Billet Cutter, you will operate specialized machinery to cut and trim billets according to strict specifications. This role demands excellent attention to detail and the ability to collaborate with others to ensure efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark billets for precise cutting using established guidelines.
• Maintain a log of production metrics and equipment performance.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
• Collaborate with maintenance staff for equipment repairs.
• Assist in inventory management of raw materials and finished goods.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the production area.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in machining or manufacturing

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar manufacturing or metal processing role is preferred.

Technical Skills

• CNC machinery experience
• Knowledge of metal properties

Languages

• English: Fluent
