The Feather Sawyer is looking for dedicated Cutting and Slicing Machine Setters, Operators, and Tenders. Your role will involve operating advanced machinery to accurately saw feather quills, ensuring that our feather art meets the high-quality standards we uphold. Attention to detail and a commitment to safety are paramount in this position.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders to determine specifications for cutting quills.
• Calibrate machinery settings to maintain accuracy.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks on machinery.
• Report any incidents or malfunctions to the supervisor.
• Assist in the training of other team members.
• Coordinate with inventory control to track material usage.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Technical certification in machining is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in the textile or manufacturing fields preferred.
