Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Materials Inspector where your primary responsibility will be to ensure that materials conform to quality standards for production and construction projects. You will conduct thorough visual and physical inspections of incoming materials to guarantee compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Perform material inspections and tests according to established procedures.
  • Utilize non-destructive testing methods to assess material quality.
  • Prepare inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Identify and escalate non-conforming materials or practices to management.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal standards.
  • Assist in organizing and executing internal audits.
  • Maintain and calibrate testing equipment as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of inspection procedures and protocols.
  • Provide support in training fellow team members on quality assurance practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in materials science or related field preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a related role, preferably in manufacturing or construction.
