Job Description

As a Kick Press Setter, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing process by setting up and operating kick presses that produce high-quality metal components. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring efficient production while adhering to safety standards and maintaining product quality. Ideal candidates have a mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail to manage the complexities of press operations effectively.

Responsibilities

• Operate kick presses following safety and quality guidelines.
• Check production specifications and adjust equipment settings as necessary.
• Perform regular equipment checks and maintenance to avoid downtime.
• Inspect products for conformance to specifications before dispatch.
• Keep production logs updated with operational data.
• Maintain a clean workspace adhering to safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with other production staff to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor junior staff in kick press operations and safety procedures.
• Identify inefficiencies in operations and recommend solutions.
• Help implement new techniques for improved production quality.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in press operations or similar
