Job Description
As an Acoustical Carpenter, you will collaborate with architects and designers to devise and execute effective noise control solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of acoustical principles and installation techniques.
Responsibilities
Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project goals and timelines.
Assist in the selection and procurement of materials needed for acoustical projects.
Troubleshoot and resolve any acoustical issues found on-site.
Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure satisfaction.
Develop solutions for challenging acoustic configurations in various spaces.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program is preferred
Experience
2-4 years of experience in carpentry and acoustics
