Job Description

As an Acoustical Carpenter, you will collaborate with architects and designers to devise and execute effective noise control solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of acoustical principles and installation techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to discuss project goals and timelines.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of materials needed for acoustical projects.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any acoustical issues found on-site.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed installations to ensure satisfaction.
  • Develop solutions for challenging acoustic configurations in various spaces.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training program is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in carpentry and acoustics
