Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate Psychiatrist to join our team in Philadelphia, PA. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health disorders, ensuring they receive high-quality care tailored to their needs. Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and a commitment to patient-centered practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments to diagnose psychiatric conditions.
• Administer and monitor psychotropic medications as needed.
• Participate in case management meetings to discuss patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues and treatment options.
• Keep abreast of new developments in mental health care and treatment strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
• Board certification in Psychiatry preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in psychiatry or related field

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Fellowship trained in a subspecialty of psychiatry: Preferred additional training in specialized fields of psychiatry.
