Job Description

As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in promoting mental wellness within the Cincinnati community. You will provide counseling, assessment, and support to clients while working collaboratively with a team to enhance their overall mental health.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver counseling services in a compassionate and confidential environment.
  • Assist clients in setting realistic treatment goals and monitoring their progress.
  • Implement evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
  • Stay informed on mental health trends and resources to provide up-to-date support.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed and hotline support.
  • Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness.
  • Support the professional development of junior counselors through mentoring.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or similar is required
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in mental health counseling or related field
