Orthotist and Prosthetist

Job Description

As a Certified Prosthetist and Orthotist, you will design and fit prosthetic and orthotic devices tailored to individual patient needs. Collaborating with healthcare teams, you will assess, create, and implement solutions that enhance mobility and rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth evaluations to customize prosthetic and orthotic solutions.
• Create, modify, and fit orthotic and prosthetic devices based on patient anatomy.
• Liaise effectively with other healthcare professionals for seamless patient service.
• Educate patients on the prosthetic use and provide emotional support.
• Record patient's progress and device fit adjustments.
• Stay informed of new materials and techniques in prosthetics.
• Assist in training interns or new staff on device fitting and customization.
• Participate in quality assurance activities within the facility.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
