Job Description

As a Pipe Coverer Helper, you will support experienced pipe coverers by assisting in covering ships' piping systems with insulation materials. This role involves ensuring compliance with safety regulations while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut insulation materials according to specifications.
• Apply insulation materials and secure them using adhesives or wire.
• Assist in the installation of cladding materials for protective purposes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
• Ensure a tidy work environment by cleaning up after tasks.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience

• Experience in the maritime or shipbuilding industry is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Safety regulations knowledge
• Blueprint reading
