Job Description

The Custodial Officer is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of all facilities. This crucial role ensures that all operational areas are kept in a secure and immaculate condition, fostering a safe environment for both staff and incarcerated individuals.

Responsibilities

• Conducting regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
• Assisting in emergency situations to maintain safety and order.
• Training new hires on cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
• Collaborating with security staff to ensure compliance with institutional standards.
• Documenting any incidents related to safety and cleanliness.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a hospital or healthcare environment is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Operating specialized cleaning equipment

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently

Languages

• Spanish: Conversational
• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Spanish: Ability to communicate effectively with both English and Spanish-speaking individuals.
• Experience in a school or educational setting: Prior experience working in educational facilities is a plus.
