As a Parole Agent, you will supervise and monitor parolees, ensuring compliance with their release terms. You will work closely with a team of professionals to provide guidance and support, facilitating a successful reintegration into society.

Job Responsibilities
  • Regularly visit parolees at home or in the community to ensure compliance.
  • Assess parolees' needs and connect them with relevant support services.
  • Work with police and correctional facilities on investigations when necessary.
  • Create detailed reports for each parolee's progress and concerns.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records of parolee interactions and reports.
  • Advocate for the needs of parolees within the community.
  • Engage with families of parolees to foster positive support systems.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Knowledge of criminal justice systems Strong understanding of parole and probation procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skilled in using MS Office Suite for reporting and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills Able to effectively communicate with diverse populations.
  • Strong organizational skills Capable of managing multiple caseloads efficiently.
  • State certification as a Parole Agent
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Fluency in a second language: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, especially Spanish speakers.
