Job Description

As an Injection Molding Process Technician at Plastic Parts Manufacturing Co., you will play a crucial role in the setting up, operation, and maintenance of our state-of-the-art injection molding machines. Your technical expertise will contribute significantly to producing high-quality plastic components that meet stringent industry standards. You will work closely with the production team, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Conduct setup, operation, and monitoring of injection molding machines.
• Adjust machine parameters to optimize quality and efficiency.
• Perform regular quality inspections and document results.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues with machinery.
• Collaborate with engineers for process improvements.
• Keep accurate records of production runs and machine maintenance.
• Train and mentor new employees in machine operation.
• Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Follow production guidelines to achieve targets on time.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals and challenges.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Manufacturing Technology is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in injection molding or a similar field
