Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Water Valve Repairer to assist in the maintenance and repair of water valves. This position is vital to our mission of providing safe and clean water to the neighborhoods we serve.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of water supply systems and valves for operational efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve valve-related issues in a timely manner.
• Document maintenance and repair actions within our tracking system.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations during repairs.
• Mentor new team members on best practices for valve repair and maintenance.

Requirements

Education

• Technical diploma in plumbing or a related field

Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in valve maintenance or plumbing

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with CAD software
• Use of diagnostic tools

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Time management

Certifications

• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior repairers: Ability to lead and train junior staff effectively.
• Knowledge of local plumbing codes and regulations: Understanding of compliance standards for water management.
