Job Description

As a Back Hoe Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in our operations by operating and maintaining excavating and loading machinery. You will ensure that the job site runs smoothly and safely, contributing to the efficiency of various construction and mining projects.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain backhoe machines and other heavy equipment as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and report malfunctioning machinery.
• Ensure materials are excavated and moved to designated locations efficiently.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold safety standards on the site.
• Assist with setting up site layout and maintaining order during operations.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance safety awareness.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in heavy machinery operation, preferably backhoes and excavators

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification
