Job Description

As a Pattern Marking Supervisor, you will oversee the pattern marking process in our Los Angeles facility. Your keen attention to detail will ensure the accuracy of pattern placements, directly impacting the quality of our garments. You'll lead a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with designers to optimize our production processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead pattern marking initiatives, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Interpret design specifications and adapt marking techniques accordingly.
  • Develop training programs for new team members.
  • Conduct routine inspections to maintain quality assurance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment with design and production teams.
  • Document and report on marking process and performance metrics.
  • Manage the scheduling of pattern marking tasks and team shifts.
  • Facilitate team meetings to discuss techniques and improvements.
  • Stay informed about software updates in pattern marking tools.
  • Conduct trials of new marking techniques and report findings.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • Prior training or certification in pattern marking is an asset
Experience
  • 4+ years of experience in pattern marking or related supervisory roles
