Job Description

As a Chainman at SurveyTech Solutions, you will play a crucial role in assisting our survey crews with land surveys and related tasks. This position requires keen attention to detail, a good understanding of surveying techniques, and the ability to work well within a team. Your contributions will directly support our mission to provide accurate surveying services.

Responsibilities

• Support the survey team by carrying equipment and materials to various job sites.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation.
• Conduct preliminary measurements and data collection as directed.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and challenges.
• Demonstrate a commitment to safety practices in all work environments.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in Surveying or related field is preferred

Experience

• Previous experience as a Chainman or in a similar surveying role is preferred

Technical Skills

• GPS Surveying Software
• AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with land surveying equipment: Hands-on experience with total stations, levels, and GPS devices.
• Certified Survey Technician (CST): Certification is a plus but not mandatory.
