Job Description

As a Line Fisher, you'll play a critical role in the operations of our commercial fishing vessel. Your responsibilities will include catching, cleaning, and preparing fish for market, ensuring that all fishing laws and safety protocols are observed.

Responsibilities

  • Execute fishing operations with efficiency and precision.
  • Perform cleaning and processing tasks on caught fish.
  • Adhere to legal guidelines regarding fishing quotas and species protection.
  • Monitor weather and sea conditions, adjusting plans accordingly.
  • Assist in crew training and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment on board.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
Experience
  • Previous experience in a related fishing role is strongly preferred.
