As a Field Cane Scale Clerk, you'll manage and record the weight of harvested sugarcane in the fields, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting to the team. This role demands keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Utilize field scales for weighing sugarcane and record results promptly.
• Report discrepancies in weights immediately to supervisors.
• Monitor operations to ensure all safety protocols are adhered to.
• Assist in the calibration of weighing equipment.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss productivity and improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Agriculture or related field preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.

Technical Skills

• Field scale operation

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with recordkeeping software: Experience with software for managing agricultural data and weights is ideal.
