Job Description
We are on the hunt for a skilled Shohet. In this role, you will oversee ritual slaughter, ensuring compliance with Jewish dietary laws, while upholding the highest humane and hygienic standards.
Responsibilities
Carry out ritual slaughter of livestock with adherence to kosher practices.
Monitor the entire process to ensure ethical treatment of animals.
Maintain meticulous cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of operation.
Actively participate in training for improvement on ritual slaughter techniques.
Engage with team members to ensure all slaughtering meets our company's standards.
Requirements
Education
Certification as a Shohet
Experience in food production is advantageous
Experience
Minimum of 2 years working as a Shohet in a commercial setting
