Job Description

A Load Dispatcher is crucial for ensuring the stability of electrical power systems. Your role includes monitoring power generation and distribution, analyzing real-time data to maintain balance, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of the power grid.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the distribution of electrical load to maintain balance and stability within the electrical grid.
• Prepare and communicate load forecasts, outage schedules, and switching orders to support operational planning.
• Monitor and control the distribution of electrical power to optimize load distribution.
• Ensure compliance with grid reliability standards and regulations.
• Document all relevant activities and incidents regarding power distribution.
• Assist in conducting drills and simulations for emergency response procedures.
• Collaborate with grid operators and field crews to ensure efficient operations.
• Perform regular analysis to identify trends and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in load dispatching or similar roles.
