Job Description

We are looking for a capable Scrap Hoist Operator to efficiently handle hoisting operations for scrap material transportation. This role is significant in our recycling processes, requiring adherence to safety protocols and effective teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload various scrap materials, ensuring proper distribution and weight balance.
• Perform routine inspections and light maintenance on hoisting equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to optimize workflow and maintain productivity.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to report any issues promptly.
• Document daily hoisting operations including materials handled and equipment maintenance logs.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience operating hoists or similar machinery preferred.
