Tariff Counsel

Job Description

As a Tariff Counsel, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on matters involving tariffs and compliance with customs regulations. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Advise on customs and trade compliance issues related to imports and exports.
• Monitor and analyze developments in customs laws, providing guidance on their impact.
• Assist in developing internal policies in accordance with customs and trade regulations.
• Oversee audits and compliance checks to ensure adherence to regulations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive compliance reports and records.

Requirements

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from accredited law school
• Specialization in International Trade Law is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in international trade.
