Job Description

The Hired Hand will play a crucial role in the everyday operations of the farm, handling a diverse range of tasks from animal care to equipment maintenance. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with livestock and be prepared for a physically demanding, outdoor work environment.

Responsibilities

• Daily livestock feeding and health monitoring.
• Thorough cleaning of animal housing and pasture management.
• Regular equipment checks and repairs.
• Assisting with animal breeding and care protocols.
• Basic veterinary treatment when necessary.
• Crop planting and maintenance as directed.
• Ensure adherence to safety and health regulations on the farm.
• Engage in team meetings to provide feedback on processes.
• Assist in training new farm hands.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of practical experience in agriculture or livestock management

Languages
