Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Supplier Quality Engineer, where you'll develop and implement quality improvement plans, conduct supplier audits, and collaborate closely with suppliers to resolve quality issues and enhance product performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement supplier quality audits.
• Analyze supplier performance metrics for continuous improvement.
• Establish strong relationships with key suppliers to enhance communication.
• Assist in developing quality standards and procedures.
• Evaluate supplier processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Lead supplier quality training programs.
• Collaborate on new product development with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier compliance with industry standards.
• Utilize statistical analysis tools for quality assessments.
• Drive initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline
• ASQ Certified Quality Auditor is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in quality engineering or supplier management

Technical Skills

• Lean Six Sigma
• Root Cause Analysis

Advantageous

• Familiarity with SAP or Oracle: Experience using ERP systems to manage quality data.
• Experience with industry standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, and similar quality frameworks.
