Job Description

We are seeking a driven Construction Manager to oversee our projects in Orlando. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction processes and be adept at managing budgets, schedules, and teams while ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate project performance and implement improvements as necessary.
• Mentor and train junior project staff in construction management best practices.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction laws.
• Track and report on project budgets and profitability.
• Assist in resolving disputes and conflicts on job sites.
• Foster a culture of safety and quality among all team members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
• Relevant field experience can compensate for educational qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of field experience in construction

Technical Skills

• Blueprint Reading
• Scheduling

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• LEED Accredited Professional

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with BIM Software: Experience with Building Information Modeling software for improved project management.
• Knowledge of Structural Engineering: Understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
