Job Description

The Housekeeping Houseperson plays a vital role in ensuring that our hotels and residential properties are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards. This role includes assisting the housekeeping team and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Support the housekeeping team in the efficient cleanup and maintenance of rooms.
  • Ensure all supplies are adequately stocked and organized on housekeeping carts.
  • Provide prompt service to guests regarding cleanliness and comfort.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all public facilities and entry points.
  • Be proactive in identifying and reporting maintenance or cleanliness issues.
  • Work closely with team members to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation standards at all times.
  • Assist with training new housekeeping staff as needed.
  • Engage in continuous learning about eco-friendly cleaning practices.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss performance and improvements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in housekeeping is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in housekeeping or a related role preferred.
