We are searching for an IT Support Specialist to join our Chicago team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting, ensuring all IT systems are operating smoothly. Key responsibilities include providing technical support for hardware and software issues, maintaining network systems, and assisting users with IT-related inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Support users with technical issues related to both hardware and software.
  • Ensure all IT systems are maintained and operating efficiently.
  • Keep detailed records of support requests and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on various projects to enhance internal systems.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and liaise with the network team.
  • Assist in data backups and system updates as required.
  • Provide support during software deployments and upgrades.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT support
