Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Public Health Advisor to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will develop programs aimed at improving community health, analyze data trends, and advise on public health policies. You will collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, community organizations, and healthcare providers to promote health equity and access.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic health initiatives that address social determinants of health.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on public health projects.
  • Analyze and report on community health data to gauge program success.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders in healthcare, education, and non-profit sectors.
  • Educate the public on health issues through workshops and seminars.
  • Participate in health fairs and outreach events to raise awareness.
  • Coordinate with state health departments for data sharing and resource allocation.
  • Research emerging public health challenges and propose innovative solutions.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's in Public Health or similar field
  • Doctorate in Public Health is a significant advantage

  • 5+ years of experience in public health roles
