Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Kayak Guide to lead exciting kayak tours in the beautiful waters of Seattle. You'll provide safety instructions, support participants in their adventures, and share your knowledge of local wildlife and history.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct safety briefings before tours and ensure compliance.
  • Educate participants about local ecosystems and the importance of conservation.
  • Monitor weather and water conditions to assess tour safety.
  • Organize logistics related to kayak tours, including equipment setup.
  • Collect feedback from participants to improve future tours.
  • Act as a representative of Outdoor Adventures LLC during tours, enhancing brand image.
  • Encourage and motivate participants to engage with the kayaking experience.
  • Collaborate with marketing for tour promotions and participant engagement.
  • Assist in training new guides and sharing best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Certification in kayaking preferred
  • College degree in a related field is a plus
Experience
  • Experience leading kayak tours in specific locations is a plus.
