Job Description

As a Substance Abuse and Behavioral Disorder Counselor, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through their recovery journeys. You'll provide support, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to foster a supportive environment for patients. Responsibilities

  • Facilitate educational and support groups for clients and their families.
  • Provide crisis intervention services as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, social work)
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in substance abuse treatment required.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in conflict resolution techniques
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software
Soft Skills

Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
