Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Paving, Surfacing, and Tamping Equipment Operators to join our crew and ensure high-quality road maintenance. The ideal candidate will operate heavy equipment like road graders to level, shape, and maintain road surfaces efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain road grading equipment ensuring high standards of work.
• Work collaboratively with construction teams for project success.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment to avoid malfunctions.
• Ensure roads are properly graded, shaped, and ready for use.
• Complete documentation of daily activities and equipment usage.
• Respond promptly to equipment issues and communicate repairs needed.
• Operate other heavy machinery as required.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in road construction or maintenance.

Certifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
