Job Description

As a Patrol Deputy, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the community. Your duties will include enforcing laws, responding to emergencies, and ensuring public safety in your assigned areas. Strong communication skills, physical fitness, and decision-making abilities are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor traffic and enforce road safety laws.
  • Engage with community members to build trust and gather feedback.
  • Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents.
  • Handle firearms and other law enforcement equipment safely.
  • Assist supervisors with department operations and initiatives.
  • Take part in ongoing training programs for career development.
  • Ensure all reports and documentation are submitted accurately and on time.
  • Participate in community policing efforts and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement officers during joint operations.
  • Maintain physical fitness standards as per department requirements.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a certified police academy program
Experience
  • Experience in community policing is a plus
